Artist Martin Kullik will do a short talk about his project - Steinbeisser.

Currently we are in preparation to set up a pilot of the project Steinbeisser in Amsterdam, the projects opening date is set for the 1st of October 2011 and running until the 31st of December 2011. Steinbeisser projects an interdisciplinary dialogue between the applied arts - such as contemporary jewellery and fashion (clothing and bags, belts, hats, scarfs, shoes, etc.) -, fine arts - such as photography and video - and performing arts - such as contemporary dance, improvisation, performance and theater.

In the project we intend to develop for each chapter a program of exhibitions and performances, spotlight events and gallery-shop showcase. Diego Gil and Igor Dobricic are developing their new work. The process, consist of two (a)symetrical components, one involving Rob List, choreographer and maker and the other, hopefully involving a small group of SNDO students. During the Friday lecture Diego and Igor will introduce the ideas and procedures they intend to follow inside their process and will open a possibility for some of the students to join the work.
