And next Friday the 18...
1:30
Melvin Fraenk (SNDO3) would like to do a open rehearsal of a work he is doing at the JMD (Jazz and Musical Department) where he regularly teach dance and make choreographic work.
He would like to share with us his experience as well to bring his work in the street dance field together with his choreographic work at the SNDO.
2:15
Rhada (SNDO4) will give a lecture over her final thesis from ethnology and cultural anthropology studies. She finished her thesis in 2005, but now she prepared a translation that soon will be available in the AHK library. She shortly would like to present the observed principles in connection to the used theory of habitus made by P. Bourdieu, which she had applied in her work. She tried to extract principles of learning, performing and teaching improvisation in order to see them within everyday praxes. At the same time she was observing where and how improvisational principles already take part in our daily praxes and we can later apply them to our professional praxes.
Don't miss it.. and please invite everybody you want..it is an open event and at the same time a meeting point for we all!
Greetings,
SF
