Edge 35,6
Performance by Matej Kejzar in collaboration with SNDO 1

Edge 35,6

System stops, ball stops bouncing, touch stops, space stops, gravity stops, avant-garde stops. STOP. Final Edge. What is the moment before every thing stops? Is it kind of moment where you met your Pegasus, or is thinking about this kind of moment just another illusion? Is it reality of stop/edge more just the end and then tilted over? What comes next and why is question the only form that can serve as answer? It is time for shape, it is time for re-thinking of shape, it is time to re-think the illusion!

Edge is a dance performance where time-space component are taken into re-consideration. It suggest to start all over, to look at it once again. It does not offer the answer, on contrary it suggests and opens for potential. It opens questions of what we see when we look at, as the matter a fact what is it that we want to see.

Performance & Discussion - MOVIE / by Marta Ziolek (SNDO 3)

The performance is called "Movie" and would take around 15-20 minutes for presentation. After the performance i would like to have a talk. Marta Ziolek

A solo is a difficult task

Making duet or a trio offers at least

a) More perspectives of two or three bodies in the space

b) More connections

c) More discourse

d) More geometry and form

e) More situations

f) More counter positions

g) More complexity

I believe that we are in the educational frame not only to develop our individual interest and produce performances but to share interest among others, share our knowledge and questions regarding art making. Inspired by the Jan Ritsema statement- The problem of dancing is dancing I would like to invite people for an after talk concerning my new project- Movie. I would be grateful if people could share their concerns and questions.

Duration 20 min.

Cheers, SF
